With Paraben's Icon Builder you can design icons or pull them from existing images. Included in the program is Paraben's Icon Wizard which helps you control your system's icon settings. With the Wizard you can reset, restore, change, and select which system icons you want to change. This program includes many useful editing and drawing tools like shadow, invert, add text, color and so on.

Icon Builder can extract icons from EXE or DLL files. In terms of icon management, you can store icons in an icon resource file or in a directory. Icons can also be printed.

Icon Builder is a simple to use product and comes with tips and tricks as well as useful FAQs. However, this product cannot create Windows XP or Windows Vista icons, it is only compatible with Windows 95, 98 and NT. Therefore, if you have an older operating system you may find this program useful, but if you have Windows 2000 or XP you may want to consider Icon Workshop.
