AZ Icon Editor is a tool for creating and editing any size or color of icon as well as Windows static or animated cursors. It has a complete set of drawing tools and a variety of effects. You can import several types of images and convert them to icons. You can edit several icons at once, automate effects and add text at any angle. They have a unique interface that brings up the different effects menus as you pull them from the drop menu.

AZ Icon Editor lacks some popular editing tools like drop shadow, adjusting opacity and adding new image formats.

A few valuable features are not included in the base package such as library creation. However, some of these features can be found in supplementary programs and are available free of charge for registered users.

AZ Icon Editor is easy to use but includes minimal product support and provides technical support only by email.
